How PhoNo handles accounts, restoration progress, Screen Time, purchases, and visits to this website.

Who is responsible for your data

Gleb Suchkov Kalmykov, an individual established in Spain and trading as PhoNo, is the data controller for the PhoNo app and this website. “phonoinc.co” is a domain name, not a statement that PhoNo is an incorporated company.

For privacy requests, email privacy@nomoinc.co. This is the developer’s shared privacy inbox for PhoNo and NoMo. Please put “PhoNo” in the subject. You can request further business identification details there.

Guest use, accounts, and your world

You can focus and restore projects without creating a named account. PhoNo can create a pseudonymous guest account with Supabase, identified by a generated ID rather than your name. That guest account may save your restoration progress, session history, and preferences to the cloud. Guest use does not necessarily mean that all data stays offline.

If no online account session is available, PhoNo keeps your world locally and queues eligible changes for later saving. Check the app’s world saving status before removing the app or changing devices. An unlinked guest identifier does not give you the same recovery options as a connected account.

If you choose Sign in with Apple, we process your Apple account identifier and your email address or Apple’s private relay address where provided. PhoNo does not store your Apple-provided name. We use sign-in credentials and tokens to authenticate you, connect your world, and manage or revoke the connection when you delete your account.

Data saved for your world includes:

  • Focus session identifiers, selected restoration project, planned duration, start and completion times, and whether a session was completed or ended early.
  • Restoration minutes, project progress, imported progress where applicable, and the records needed to keep changes consistent between devices.
  • Your selected project, duration, onboarding status, and preferences such as appearance, sound, notifications, and reduced motion.
  • Account status and the identifiers needed to associate your world with you.

Session records describe your time in PhoNo. They do not tell us what you read, studied, worked on, or did in other apps.

Your blocking choices stay on your device

PhoNo uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks to block apps, categories, or websites you select during a focus session. You decide whether to grant access and which items to select. Focus remains available without blocking permission.

Apple supplies privacy-preserving selection tokens to the on-device blocking system. We do not upload those tokens, a list of your selected apps or websites, or your browsing history to our servers or purchase providers. Local permission status and selection counts help PhoNo show whether protection is ready.

You can change your selection in PhoNo or revoke PhoNo’s Screen Time access in iOS Settings. Our support page explains what to do if blocking does not start or a shield remains.

Purchases and purchase restoration

Apple handles App Store payments. We do not receive your card details. PhoNo uses RevenueCat to verify the optional Complete World purchase, restore eligible purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and understand purchase activity through its reporting tools.

This service processes a pseudonymous app user ID, purchase and transaction information, entitlement status, and limited technical information such as device and operating-system details needed to operate the purchase service. The app user ID and purchase history can be linked to your PhoNo account and are used for app functionality and purchase analytics. Processing can occur when the purchase service initializes or checks access, even if you have not made a purchase.

We do not send RevenueCat your Screen Time selection or restoration-session content. A purchase opens access to regions; it does not buy or create restoration minutes. Apple and RevenueCat may keep transaction records separately from your PhoNo world.

Diagnostics, notifications, and support

Product analytics: PhoNo does not use advertising or cross-app tracking, and its current Living World experience does not send product-analytics events. RevenueCat purchase analytics are described in the purchases section. Operational requests for account saving and purchases are still needed to provide those features.

Diagnostics: local error information can help you describe a problem. We receive any diagnostic information you choose to send to support. Apple may separately make crash and performance reports available under your Apple device sharing settings.

Notifications: where available and enabled, notifications are used for your focus sessions. You control notification permission through iOS Settings.

Support: if you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any app or device details you choose to include. Please do not send passwords or payment-card details. Contact support@nomoinc.co for help.

PhoNo does not request your contacts, photos, microphone, health information, messages, precise location, or advertising identifier to provide its focus and restoration features. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Who processes data with us

We use service providers for the limited purposes described here, under their applicable data-protection terms:

  • Apple: sign-in, Screen Time, App Store payments and restoration, and any diagnostic reporting you permit. Apple privacy policy.
  • Supabase: authentication, guest and connected accounts, cloud progress, preferences, and account operations. Supabase privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat: purchase verification, restoration, access to Complete World, fraud prevention, and purchase analytics. RevenueCat privacy policy.
  • OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare: hosting and delivering this website. Hosting services may process technical request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information, time, and security logs.
  • Email providers: delivering and storing support correspondence you send us.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where applicable, international transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect the security of the service, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not grant service providers permission to use your PhoNo data for their own advertising.

Visiting this website

This website provides product information, support, and legal pages. You do not need an account to read them. We add no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or mailing-list forms. The site’s images and styling are served with the website rather than fetched from advertising or social platforms.

Our hosting providers may process the technical information described above to deliver pages and protect the site. Email links open your own email app; a message is sent only when you choose to send it. External links take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Our reasons for processing data

  • Providing the service: account authentication, saving and restoring your world, and checking purchases are needed to perform our agreement with you.
  • Your choices: Screen Time and notifications are controlled by the permissions you grant on your device, which you can revoke. If we ask for additional optional processing based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
  • Legitimate interests: we process support correspondence and necessary technical information to answer requests, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. We use purchase analytics to understand purchase activity and manage the Complete World offer.
  • Legal obligations: limited records may be needed for accounting, responding to lawful requests, or meeting applicable legal requirements.

How long data is kept and how to delete it

On-device data remains until you remove it through the app, clear the relevant data, or delete the app. Removing the app does not by itself delete an online guest or connected account.

Account information, synced session history, progress, and settings are retained while your account exists. In PhoNo, open Settings → Your account, choose Delete account or Delete guest account where shown, and complete the confirmation. For a world that has no online account, Delete local world removes its local data. Apple reauthentication or an internet connection may be needed. Wait for deletion to finish; an offline or pending request is not confirmation that server data has been removed.

Account deletion removes the associated PhoNo account and cloud world data, and revokes the Apple sign-in connection where applicable. Limited records may remain where required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, or legal claims. Provider backups expire according to the relevant provider’s backup cycle. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations.

Support messages may be kept for up to two years to provide continuity, or longer where needed for a legal matter. Technical hosting records are kept according to our providers’ operational and security policies.

If you cannot use the app, email privacy@nomoinc.co with “PhoNo data deletion” in the subject. We may ask for reasonable proof that you control the account. Do not send your password. For an unlinked guest account, contact us before uninstalling, since we may be unable to identify the guest record afterwards.

Access, correction, and your other rights

You may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, or object to processing where those rights apply. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you through automated profiling.

Send requests to privacy@nomoinc.co. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension is needed, we will explain why. You can complain to a data-protection authority, including Spain’s Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or your local supervisory authority.

Children and policy updates

PhoNo is offered as a general-audience focus app. Parents and guardians should review this policy with younger users. Guest use does not necessarily mean that information stays on the device: cloud and purchase services may process the information described above. If you believe PhoNo has collected a child’s personal information without authorization required by law, contact privacy@nomoinc.co so we can investigate and delete it where required. Parents and guardians can also contact us about access or deletion requests concerning their child’s information.

We update this page when our practices change. Material changes will also be communicated in the app or its release information where appropriate. The date above identifies this version.
